Skeleton
Undead
The base melee enemy found throughout the dungeon, usually in small groups. Straightforward damage and telegraphs, but dangerous in numbers.
ConfirmedEvery enemy type reported during the September 2026 Ignite the Depths playtest, compiled from SK Studios' own patch notes and four creators' full playtest videos. This is a playtest-build snapshot, not a final launch bestiary — some entries are only reported once and marked accordingly.
Undead
The base melee enemy found throughout the dungeon, usually in small groups. Straightforward damage and telegraphs, but dangerous in numbers.
ConfirmedUndead / Ranged
Ranged enemy that kites away when approached and can kick at close range. Called out as the most frustrating enemy type by multiple creators during the playtest's first day — Patch 1.01 extended its hitbox and nerfed its kick's speed and damage in response.
Its kiting AI was also praised as some of the better enemy AI in the build — expect it to disengage rather than stand and fight once you close the gap.
ConfirmedUndead / Melee
A tougher melee skeleton that carries a shield. Patch 1.02 fixed a bug where its hitbox would fail once its shield broke — before that, breaking the shield could make it untargetable.
ConfirmedUndead / Melee
Drops orbs on death. Patch 1.01 fixed these orbs occasionally spawning out of bounds, out of reach.
ConfirmedUndead / Melee
Hits noticeably harder than a standard skeleton — playtesters flagged it as one of the harder-hitting melee enemies in the dungeon and called out getting caught by one specifically.
ConfirmedHumanoid / Melee
Weak individually with noticeably poor awareness/vision, but shows up in groups that can overwhelm if ignored.
Single-sourceSpirit
Appears and disappears rather than staying visible, and gets called out as a real threat when several show up at once.
Single-sourceTrap / Ambush
Disguised as a treasure chest — a recurring enemy across every playtest video watched for this guide, so treat every chest with some suspicion. Some variants have an elemental attack (a frost effect in one clip, a breath attack in another).
One player noted it's "the exact same mimic from Dark and Darker" asset-wise — take that as a comparison of vibe, not an official statement.
ConfirmedBoss
Every playtest run we reviewed reached a large throne room with dragon-head/dragon-arm stone carvings that looks built for a boss encounter — but no creator we watched actually triggered or completed a boss fight there. Treat the room as confirmed, the fight itself as not yet witnessed.
