Shop & Economy

Ignite the Depths's in-game shop, run by Pickle and Po's, is where gold and keys turn into stat upgrades, weapons, and relics. Everything below is compiled from the September 2026 playtest — playtest-build data, not final launch pricing or balance.

Currencies

Gold

The main currency, earned from enemies and destructibles. Spent at Pickle and Po's on stat upgrades, weapons, and relics.

Keys

Open locked doors and chests. Generally one key per lock — a few playtesters ran into duplicate/extra keys, likely a playtest-build bug rather than intended design.

Stat upgrades

VitalityIncreases max health.
Strength / DamageIncreases outgoing damage.
Fortitude / ResistanceIncreases damage resistance.
AgilityGeneral mobility upgrade.
HasteIncreases attack speed — one playtester specifically upgraded this on a bow.
Crit chanceIncreases critical hit chance.
Max mana / staminaIncreases resource pools used by casters and heavy attacks.
Revive speedReduces how long it takes a teammate to revive you (base is 7 seconds — see the mechanics guide).

Relics & perks

Build-defining purchases, several with a real drawback attached. Names and exact numbers below are approximate — each was only reported in one or two playtest videos.

United Courage

Single-source

Increases defense by roughly 10% while standing near allies.

Fortune's Favor

Single-source

Increases crit/hit chance by roughly 6%.

Faster revive

Single-source

Reduces revive time below the 7-second base (one player measured it down to roughly 5.75 seconds after purchase).

Gravestone trade-off

Single-source

Turns you into a gravestone immediately when downed (skipping the bleed-out window) in exchange for roughly +30% max health while alive.

Shared health

Single-source

The whole party shares one health pool — described by playtesters as powerful but risky, since one bad hit affects everyone.

Damage-for-curse

Single-source

Roughly +20% base damage, but curses a random teammate as the cost — a co-op-only drawback.
